This easy-care prairie perennial impresses with an exceptionally long flowering period from July to the end of October. Its foliage emits a delightful fragrance of lemon and anise. Its magenta, upright flower spikes are a magnet for all kinds of butterflies. Even after flowering, they remain sturdy and, adorned with hoarfrost, decorate the garden in winter.
