Perfect thirst quencher in tea - also delicious in desserts

Korean mint is easily mistaken for anise, but the robust plant with its decorative flower spikes can be easily identified by the minty aroma of its fragrant leaves. Unlike native peppermint, Korean mint is not invasive and is therefore well-suited for a perennial border. It reaches a height of up to one meter, but can easily be kept in check by pruning, which also makes it an attractive addition to large baskets. Delicate lilac-colored flower heads adorn the mint throughout the summer until October.
