The bushy wild Spanish marjoram, also known as mastic thyme, offers a unique experience on your balcony or in your garden. Depending on the time of day and the weather, the fragrance of its grey-green foliage changes, though its basic scent remains herbaceous and eucalyptus-like, reminiscent of the typical aroma of marjoram. This evergreen, heavily branched subshrub grows up to 40 cm tall and develops almost spherical flower heads with delicate pink to white blossoms in summer.

Natural habitat: Spanish marjoram grows wild in the mountains of the Iberian Peninsula. In Spain and Argentina, it is also cultivated and used as a spice.
