A lemony scent of essential oils and an abundance of blossoms until late autumn
The Mexican marigold (Taiwan) grows in a semi-spherical, upright, and bushy shape, reaching a height of up to 40 centimeters. Its leaves, approximately 10 centimeters long, are delicately lobed and resemble fern fronds. The simple flowers, only 2.5 centimeters across, with their five ray florets, appear small compared to other marigold varieties, but compensate for this with an enormous abundance of blooms. Flowering continues well into autumn.
Natural habitat: The Mexican marigold is native to the hot, dry regions of Central America.
