Flavorful pizza - tomatoes from the Peruvian Andes
This tomato variety, originating from the South American Andes, produces red fruits up to 18 centimeters long, resembling pointed peppers. It is considered one of the best-tasting tomatoes, with few seeds and little juice. It owes its French name to a collector who first brought it from the Peruvian Andes to France. The large plant tends to curl its leaves and sometimes appears rather sickly, but this in no way prevents it from being very productive. Due to their low juice content, these tomatoes are excellent for topping pizzas.
