De Cayenne is a classic hot chili pepper that produces an early and abundant harvest. The plant reaches a height of approximately 60 centimeters and, even when grown indoors, produces plenty of its fruits, which can grow up to 12 centimeters long and ripen from dark green to bright red. The upper part of the plant produces vibrant green foliage and numerous flowers. De Cayenne is excellent for salsas, sauces, and dips. The fruits also dry well and are then suitable for use in a spice grinder.
