Enchanting fragrances and digestion-promoting bitter substances

Lilacs, with their numerous blossoms, are a beautiful addition to many gardens in spring. Their fragrance is truly intoxicating. This deciduous, upright shrub can easily reach a height of two meters in a container and up to six meters in the garden. The large, upright flower panicles appear between mid-May and early June.

Natural habitat: Its original distribution area extends from central Albania to northern Romania. Lilacs were already a common sight in Central European cottage gardens in the Middle Ages.
