The Tigerella tomato develops medium-sized, multicolored striped fruits, depending on their stage of ripeness. The stripes are pronounced when green and turn orange as they ripen. This variety originated in England and is a further development of the well-known Alisa Craig. The robust Tigerella is exceptionally productive, yielding three to four kilograms of fruit per plant. Its firm, slightly bitter skin contrasts beautifully with the sweet flesh, making it an excellent ingredient in light summer salads.
