Robust and easy-to-style outdoor bonsai

The evergreen shrub, with its ascending branches and conical or rounded, richly branched crown, is a very popular tree for both novice and experienced bonsai enthusiasts. Its flexible branches make it easy to shape. Due to its origins, the juniper is also very robust in terms of drought, heat, and frost. With the exception of the broom style, it can be trained in all styles.

Natural habitat: The Chinese juniper inhabits rocky seashores and rocky elevations up to 2300 meters in eastern China and Japan.
