Chinese wisteria (Wisteria sinensis) grows into a floriferous bonsai. In most locations, its densely flowering, drooping flower clusters appear twice a year – in spring even before the first leaves emerge, and again from July to August, with the flowers unfolding from the base to the tip.
Natural habitat: Chinese wisteria originates in East Asia, primarily in China. Its distribution now extends to North America and Europe.
