The small, amusing fruits, with their medium heat level, develop into ripe fruit in about 65 days, ripening from green to yellow-orange to red, reaching up to 7 cm in length and 2.5 cm in diameter at maturity. The chili plant grows bushy with attractive foliage. The stem, leaf stalks, and leaf veins are noticeably hairy!
chili originates from East Texas and Louisiana but is now also cultivated in Mexico.
