Dwarf pomegranate

Small and flowering profusely

The 'nana' variety is more delicate than its larger relative, the pomegranate with its apple-sized fruits, and grows to a maximum height of one meter in a pot. As compensation, this dwarf form blooms much more profusely, delighting the garden for many weeks in summer with its orange-red bell-shaped blossoms and the subsequent numerous small fruits that cling to the slender branches well into autumn.

Natural habitat: The pomegranate's original home is in West to Central Asia; however, it has been widespread throughout the Mediterranean region and the Middle East for thousands of years.
