It is one of the most reliable rock garden plants. Caucasian rockcress forms dense, evergreen cushions that spread like a green carpet over stones and walls. With its small but numerous white flowers, which appear in dense clusters from March to May, it brings life to the garden early in the year. The flowers have a delicate fragrance and attract early pollinators. Its growth habit is particularly charming. The shoots creep flat along the ground and take root, eventually covering large areas. Traditionally, it is planted in rock gardens, on dry stone walls, or in gravel beds, where its compact growth fills gaps and provides structure. 

Natural habitat: The plant originally comes from the mountainous regions of the Caucasus, Turkey, and Southeast Europe, where it grows on rocky slopes, in rock crevices, and on sunny mountainsides.
