Silver-colored beauty, swaying in the wind

The evergreen silver American pampas grass is one of the most robust varieties and makes a striking impression with its large, silvery-white, feathery plumes that contrast sharply with the blue-green, sharp-edged, and narrow foliage. It is ideally suited as a specimen plant in the middle of a gravel or lawn area, at the edge of a pond, or in a large planter. It grows upright to a height of 3 meters and does not spread aggressively. From August to November, the large flower plumes appear in white, silver, or pink. These are, of course, the plant's ornamental feature and can be used beautifully in vases when dried.

Natural Habitat: The American pampas grass is native to the pampas of South America, in Brazil, Uruguay, and from Chile to central Argentina.
